Global Protect must be updated to version 5.2.2-4 before upgrading to the new macOS Big Sir.

Click the Global Protect, then click Settings.

Click About.

That will reveal the installed version (update from the Managed software center if the install version is lower)

Click the Launchpad.
Open Managed Software Center.
click Global Protect, then click update.

You are now ready to update to the macOS Big Sir.
Go to System Preferences, then click Software Update and follow the on-screen options to update.
