Teams – Create Breakout Rooms

 

Use breakout rooms to break participants into small groups during the meetings. You can open and close rooms more than once during a session or move participants between rooms. Only meeting organizers can create and manage Breakout Rooms.

  • Open a web browser and go to teams.microsoft.com. If necessary, log in with your Florida Poly username and password.

  • Join your meeting at its scheduled time and wait for your participants to join.

  • Click Breakout rooms from your meeting controls.

  • Follow the on-screen prompt and create rooms as needed.
