Defender (Windows) - How to Use the Windows Defender Security app to run an offline scan.

Open the Windows Security app by clicking the shield icon in the taskbar or searching the start menu for Defender.

Click the Virus & threat protection tile.

Click Scan options.

Click Windows Defender Offline scan and click Scan, then click Scan now.
