Jabber – Reset Cisco Jabber
Summary
Cisco Jabber is a communication client used at Florida Polytechnic University. If you are experiencing connectivity or configuration issues with Jabber, resetting the client will clear your existing account settings and preferences and allow you to start fresh.
How to Reset Cisco Jabber
Sign out of Jabber if you are currently signed in.
Click Reset Jabber.
Click Reset to confirm.
Enter your Florida Poly email address in the format
yourname@floridapoly.edu.Enter your Florida Poly NetID and password, then click Login.
You will be re-routed to sign in again with your Florida Poly NetID and password.
Complete MFA if prompted — approve the sign-in request via Microsoft Authenticator or your preferred authentication method.
Click Continue if prompted for certificate validation.
Troubleshooting
Make sure you are using your
@floridapoly.eduemail address (not@floridapoly.org).If MFA fails, verify that Microsoft Authenticator is installed and configured. See the MFA Setup Guide for help.
