Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Authenticator is the primary multi-factor authentication tool used at the University to secure Florida Poly NetID accounts.

ITS recommends that the best and most secure way to use Microsoft Authenticator is to use the Authenticator app on your smartphone or mobile device. When setting up Microsoft Authentication, we recommend that the primary method should be the Authenticator App, and a secondary mechanism should be one that does not require your mobile device (in case it is lost or unavailable). A preferred secondary device is a personal email account that is not your Florida Poly email account.
