GlobalProtect (Windows) – Install the VPN Client

Summary

Palo Alto GlobalProtect is the university's virtual private network (VPN) client used for secure connections to Florida Polytechnic University resources from off campus. Follow the steps below to download and install GlobalProtect on a Windows computer.

Instructions

  1. Go to https://vpn.floridapoly.edu and log in with your Florida Poly username and password.

  1. Download the GlobalProtect client to your computer.

  1. Run the installer.

  1. Click Next.

  1. Use Browse to choose a location for the installation, then click Next.

  1. Click Next to begin the installation.

  1. Open the GlobalProtect application.

  1. Enter vpn.floridapoly.edu in the portal address field.

  1. Click Connect.
