GlobalProtect – Log In to the VPN

Summary

This article walks you through logging in to the GlobalProtect VPN client to establish a secure connection to Florida Polytechnic University's network. You will need your Florida Poly username, password, and a device registered for multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Instructions

  1. In the taskbar icon tray, click GlobalProtect.

  1. Click Connect.

  1. Enter your Florida Poly username and password.

  1. Approve the MFA authentication request from the device registered to your account. Click Approve.

  1. Click Yes to stay signed in.

  1. Click the blue Click here link on the Palo Alto Networks page.

  1. Click Open GlobalProtect.

You are now securely connected to the university network. If you do not see the pop-up to allow the connection, enable the pop-up blocker exception for your browser:
