Overview 

With the release of Windows 11, users will notice some differences in the user interface, features, and overall experience compared to Windows 10. This article outlines the key differences you will encounter when upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

  • Centered Start Menu and Taskbar: Windows 11 features a centered Start menu and taskbar icons, offering a more streamlined and modern look. Users can revert to left-alignment if preferred. 

  • New Start Menu Design: The Start menu in Windows 11 is simplified, displaying pinned apps, recommended files, and a search bar without Live Tiles. 

  • Rounded Corners and Widgets: Windows 11 introduces rounded corners for windows and the addition of customizable widgets for quick access to information like news and calendar events. 

  1. Enhanced Productivity Features 

  • Snap Layouts and Snap Groups: Windows 11 introduces new Snap Layouts, allowing users to easily organize open windows into predefined layouts and Snap Groups for multitasking. 

  • Virtual Desktops Improvement: Users can create multiple virtual desktops with different backgrounds and settings, enhancing organization and workflow efficiency. 

  • Microsoft Teams Integration: Windows 11 has built-in Microsoft Teams integration for direct access to chats or video calls, streamlining communication.
