Webex - How to add a Webex tab to your Microsoft teams class

This will go over the process to enable Webex meetings for your Microsoft teams' class.

  • Open a web browser and go to teams.microsoft.com. If necessary, log in with your Florida Poly username and password.

  • Click on the + icon at the top In the Microsoft team you wish to enable Webex.

  • Click on Cisco Webex Meetings, if Cisco Webex Meetings is not one of the choices you can search for it in the search bar.

  • Click Add

  • Click Save.

  • Please note: There will be an error at the top of the Webex tab. this is normal.

 

  • Click on the Posts tab.

 

  • In the Start a new conversation box type @Cisco Webex Meeting. Cisco Webex meetings (Names should begin to auto-populate after a few characters are entered).

  • Click on Cisco Webex Meetings and click the space bar so it looks like the image below.

  • Then type site floridapoly.webex.com and click enter.

  • You should get a message back that says your team’s Webex site to floridapoly.webex.com.

  • Webex should be configured correctly and look like the image below.
