Florida Poly NetID Password Requirements:

• Minimum Length: 12 characters

• Complexity Score: New passwords must achieve a sufficiently high score against a password-strength library of more than 75,000 common passwords.

  • Scores improve with longer passwords and the use of numbers, mixed case, and special characters.

  • Passwords cannot contain information related to your name, school, or other common features.

• Password history / reuse:

  • Your new password must be different from your previously used passwords.

  • The system checks against your last 24 recorded passwords.
