The microphone microphones in the classrooms have many fail points. These are steps you should take when troubleshooting.

Equipment
Check if the transmitter is turned on and battery levels are sufficient.
Solution: Replace the batteries.
Check if the Receiver (located in the lectern) is powered on and the levels are rising when speaking into the transmitter.
Solution: Check to make sure the group and channel match on the transmitter and receiver.
Solution: check the Display LED’s LEDs and replace the power supply.
Check if the 3.5mm cable is connected to the local PC mic input.
Solution: locate the 3.5mm and connect to the Local PC mic input.

Crestron Touchscreen
Check the mic levels and verify the mute function isn’t turned on.
Solution: Unmute the the mic and set the volume to 90%.

Local PC settings
Right-click the task bar taskbar speaker, then click Open Sound Settings to view the mic input levels.
Cycle the 3.5mm cable connected to the local PC mic input to see if the PC registers the device.
Power cycle the DMPS.
Reboot the application utilizing the mic.
Reboot the local PC.
