Webex - How to navigate a meeting as a Host

Instructions on how to navigate a meeting.

  • When you first open a meeting you’ll be asked to select your Audio and Video options. If you’re conducting a meeting from a laptop with no other users in the room, we recommend connecting a USB headset and selecting the Call Using Computer option.

  • You can decide whether or not you require the other attendees to see your video on the Select Video Connection dropdown. If your laptop or PC doesn’t have a built-in camera option, you’ll have to connect an external USB camera.

  • Select Connect Audio and Video.

  • The Microphone icon allows you to mute your microphone.

  • The Camera icon allows you to mute your video.

  • The Folder icon allows you to share content.

  • The top Screen option allows attendees to view all applications you share on the desktop.

  • The Individual applications option allows the host to keep all other applications private.

  • The Record icon allows the host to start, pause, and stop the recording during the meeting.

  • The Person icon allows the host to view the participants in the meeting.

  • The Chat icon allows the host to send messages to all the attendees or individuals.

  • The Options icon allows you to change settings and remind attendees to join the meeting.

  • The Red X icon allows you to leave or end the meeting.
