Webex (Windows)- How to create an invite and start a meeting in your personal room

  • Your Webex Personal Room is your own virtual conference space that you can use for meetings at any time. Your personal room host and attendee information never change.

  • Open your Cisco Webex meeting app from your computer desktop.

  • Click Schedule.

  • This will create a new meeting invite in your Outlook.

 

  • Click the Add Personal Room drop-down menu, then click add the personal room.

  • Complete filling out the meeting information: Attendees, Date/Time, etc. then click Send.

  • To start the meeting in your personal room. Re-open your Cisco Webex Meeting App.

  • You’ll see a list of upcoming meetings. If it’s time to join a scheduled meeting, click Start next to the desired meeting.

  • Choose your audio and video options. Then click connect audio and video.

  • Your meeting will now begin. You’ll notice that all the functionality of a normal meeting is available.
