As of <DATE>, all users will be required to set up two MFA methods to use Microsoft’s Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). If you do not currently have two MFA methods, the next time you log in you will see a prompt like the one shown below to set and up another MFA method.
Users will also be required to confirm their MFA methods periodically, being first shown the prompt above, then given the prompt below.
Resetting your NetID password
A password reset is for when you have lost your password and need to set a new one.
Go to a login screen for any Florida Poly SSO application like Workday, Canvas, or Email, or go to https://passwordreset.floridapoly.edu/ and skip to Step 4.
When it asks for your email, select “Can’t access your account?“.
Select “Work or school account“.
Enter your email and fill out the captcha.
Select “I forgot my password“.
If you do not have two or more MFA methods set up, you will get the error shown below after this point. Contact the Help Desk at (863) 874-8888 for assistance.

Changing your NetID password
A password change is for when you want to set a different password and know your current password or your password has expired.
If your password is expired
Open a web browser and go to email.floridapoly.edu. You will also be prompted from any other Florida Poly SSO (single sign-on (SSO) applications like Workday, Canvas, or Email.
Enter your current password and complete the form to select a new password
If your password is not expired
Open a web browser and go to office.com
Click Sign in, then enter your Florida Poly NetID (not the employee ID or the U number) and fill out the remaining required fields.
Click Account Manager for ‘your name here’ (your profile picture at the top right corner).
Click View Account.
Click Security Info.
Click Change on the entry for Password
Set your new password
