Open a browser and go to https://apps.floridapoly.edu. If necessary, log in with your Florida Poly username and password. If you haven’t yet set up the VMware Horizon Client, see How to Open Applications from the VMware Horizon Client .
Select the Catalog tab.
Select Virtual Desktops.
Depending on the class, select Desktops – Standard or Desktops – Graphics. If you’re unsure of which to select, see Understanding virtual desktop types
A prompt will appear confirming that you’ve entered the virtual classroom and that your computer is viewable by the instructor. This allows for your instructor to provide the same assistance as if you were in the physical classroom. If the prompt does not appear, try signing out and back in during your normal class time. The desktop will be monitored until you sign out. Outside of normal class hours, the virtual desktops will not be monitored by an instructor.
