Webex (Windows) - How to install the Application

The Cisco Webex Meetings desktop app allows you to start and join meetings quickly and easily. You can schedule, start, and join meetings from your desktop or directly from Microsoft Outlook.

  • Before installing the application, please make sure you close out of all open Microsoft Office applications completely or the install will fail.

  • On your university device, open the Software Center application.

  • Within Software Center, click the top right search bar and type Cisco Webex Meetings, then click Enter.

  • Click the Cisco Webex Meetings App Shortcut.

  • Click Install.

  • Once the install is complete. You’ll see the Cisco Webex Meetings Shortcut on your desktop.

  • Log in with your Florida Poly username and password.

  • The Cisco Webex Meetings Application and Outlook Plugin are now installed.
