Recording a Microsoft Teams Meeting

To record a Microsoft Teams meeting, you must first schedule the meeting on your calendar. You cannot record a meeting that was not scheduled on your calendar.

Once you join the meeting, in the top right of your screen click More.

Click Record and Transcribe, then click Start Recording.

Once you start to record your meeting, all meeting participants will be notified that the meeting is being recorded.

Stop Recording

To stop the recording, go back to the “More” option, click Record and transcribe and you will be shown the options to either stop the recording or stop the transcription.

Recording Link

Once the recording is stopped, you can find the recording in the meeting chat log, and the “Shared” section of the meeting. All meeting participants will be able to download the meeting recording.
